How the tiles are made

Engraved, then UV printed. Every tile face is engraved first, and the full-color artwork is then UV printed on top. The back of each tile is clear acrylic with green glitter that flows when you tilt it.

What's included

• 160 acrylic tiles
• 10 jokers in two designs (a stocking and a Santa hat), marked JOKER
• 6 blank tiles: keep them as spares in case a tile ever goes missing, or use them for house rules that call for blanks

Tile details

• Tile size: 1.42 × 0.98 × 0.59 in (36 × 25 × 15 mm)
• Flowing green glitter backs; festive themed faces (see below)
• For American-style play, 4 players
• Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from high heat and direct sunlight.
• Contains small parts. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Themed tile faces

These tiles use festive artwork instead of the classic faces. Number tiles still show their number in the corner, so you play from the card the same way.

• Dots = ornaments (1–9)
• Bams = candles (1–9). The 1 Bam is a candle, not a bird.
• Craks = gift boxes (1–9), with a small 萬 in the corner
• Soap = snowflake · Green dragon = green tree · Red dragon = red tree
• Winds = reindeer marked E, S, W, N · Jokers are marked JOKER
• Flowers (8) = a wreath, a pine branch, mistletoe, holly, a berry sprig, a pine sprig, a berry branch and a bell. In American mahjong every flower counts as a flower, so you never need to tell them apart.
• Blanks (6) = plain white tiles

If your group is used to classic faces, expect a game or two to get used to it.
